Today, I have absolutely no complaints! Yep - you read it right. Today has been a great day and I am not going to whinge about a single thing! I really feel like I have achieved something today - and as any mother knows, feeling like you have managed to just get through the day (even if you are still in your PJ's at 4.30pm) is pretty rare. But I managed to get quite a lot done - I walked around the lake, the house got cleaned, the lawns got mowed, the groceries were hunted and gathered and friends were even invited over for dinner. Ellie and Harri have been just this side of brilliant all day, amusing themselves with painting and playdoh (all nice, quiet things) - and my mothering skills - well woohoo for them! When you have a day like this, you just have to write about it. I mean, I know there's not many who actually read this, but what the heck, this is all about posterity.
