In the wild with the Oxlades.....

The other weekend we decided it was high time to check out our surroundings.

We packed our picnic lunch, put on our hiking shoes and headed off to Deep Creek Conservation Park.

The hike began amongst some pretty scruffy coastal shrubs....

(Speaking of pretty scruffy!!!!!)
and included some speccy views!!.

We eventually found where Deep Creek ended.....

(local wildlife)
and the sea began.....

That walk looks awesome. Andrew and I tried that walk but we had Nathaniel and Isaac with us and it was not so successful. Now that I have seen some photos from your hike I will definitely have to do it! Kid-free of course:)

Absolutely beautiful scenery (and wildlife too of course!). It's great when you move to a new place to check out all there is to see. We did that in Darwin in the 9 months we were there and it was the best posting we ever had. Happy New Year!!
