No Mum, there really aren't any extra naked men in the house.....

"You're not going to blog this are you Mum?" Harri almost begged me. (Who's he kidding - some of my best stuff comes straight out of his mouth!)

I just laughed even harder (it's not good to lie to your kids - avoid answering by all means, but don't outright lie!)

We had just finished our weekly shop, and I managed to pick up something very cheap that I have had my eye on for weeks - waiting, hoping that it would be there long enough for me to afford it. (Yay half price clearance!!)

A little helper for Science - a hands on kind of thing.

Seeing as it would be used quite a lot, especially this first term, I told the children that it probably required a name. A kind of tag per se. After all, the kids like to name things - even the geckos on our verandah are all called Dave...

Harri, with a wicked little grin in his eye, yells out "let's call him Naked Ben".

"Very apt", I thought "and absolutely brilliant (snigger, snigger) as a title for a blog post".....

"Naked Ben moves in with us", "Me and Naked Ben", "What we've been doing with Naked Ben", "Naked Ben in the classroom" and most importantly, "The Secret Life of Naked Ben".

Better not though, my Mum will disown me. Heh heh. Hi Mum. Love you.

Where on earth were you Helen, when you purchased Naked Ben? I certainly have not see it in aisle 10 of the supermarket. What else was on clearance? I love a good half price sale.

tried to call you but I think my phone is messing up. You don't have to stay with the kids. Just fill out the registration form the first day then sign them in and out. i'd love to catch up with you. Can't do it during VBS though because I'm in charge. =) But you can stay for a bit and cuddle my precious boy all you want. =)

And I too want to know where you got Naked Ben. I never get the good sales. LOL

Oh so much potential!! Isn't it funny how bloggers view the world juussst a little bit differently? We're always looking out for that next hot topic. I think it keeps us 'in the moment' (and keeps our family on their toes!)

This is terrible: how hungry can I be that Naked Ben's liver and small intestines look an awful lot like a chocolate eclair with the dough part gone a little mad? (Or is it just me?)
