Take a fifty out of the till and have the rest of the day off.......

Most nights when Nev comes home from work, he has a cuppa with me and then asks the children what they got up to during the day. The other night, Ellie and Harri bombarded him with all sorts of information and when they finally stopped chewing his ear off long enough to take a breath, Nev asked "who made you two so brilliant?" They both looked at each other, cheeky little grins on their faces and yelled "Mummy!!"
Ho ho - what more can I say? It's not completely true mind you, but a little pat on the back goes a long way for us home schooling mamas!

Great job you!! Nice to get a bit of positive feedback from the little tykes isn't it?! They can be the harshest critics after all...

Yeah if I got to spend all day at home with you Helen, I guess eventually I would come around to my senses... the laughter and crying we would have together as we shared our lives would definitely help my knowledge.

Here we go, I will try for you Helen

*cosci - staying home with mother
