What goes on in our little one's heads?......

Tonight at the dinner table, Ellie was bopping away in her chair and after repeatedly asking her to sit still and eat her dinner, she admonished me, "but Mummy, I've got the bee song going on in my head" (translation: at the end of the Bee Movie - this is a great watch by the way - there is the song with the film clip and Ellie has watched it enough to know most of the words).

"If I close my eyes Mummy, I can actually, really hear them singing it like on the TV". She then closes her eyes and has a bit more of a bop.

Harri, watching Ellie closely and with a bit of a quizzical look on his face, says, "Can I have a listen too Ellie", and puts his head next to hers. When he doesn't hear anything, he pushes his head even closer to Ellie's, stops, looks at her slightly confused, and then puts his head back again. He then grabs Ellie's face and says, "you need to turn it up I can't hear it".

Oh man, what a classic!

That is one of the funniest things I've ever heard!!!!! ;) I know what it's like to have music running constantly.... it does make you "bop", but it's a great companion! Never thought of sharing it with the person sitting next to me!
